Welcome to the Manx Deaf Society

A little bit about us

The Manx Deaf Society was formed in the 1920's and was originally founded to support the profoundly deaf sign language users of the Isle of Man. Now we aim to support anyone with any hearing loss or hearing related issue on the island. Approximately 1 in 6 people on the Island have at least some degree of hearing loss. We have a variety of services and things that we can do to help you and make your life a little bit easier. We strive to support everyone in our community, regardless of age or degree of hearing loss.
